Salvation

Salvation

What is salvation?

Salvation is God's gift of grace to a dying and sinful world. It is His love for us and His purpose for creating mankind to have everlasting fellowship with Him. To this end-- God gave of Himself through the redemptive work of His Son.that the door to salvation is open to all who believe in their heart and confess that Jesus Christ the son of God lived, died for our sins through the crucifixion, was resurrected and is now alive and making intercession for us in heaven.

How did I become a sinner?

God's word says that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory(expectation) and that we were born in sin and iniquity. Scriptural Reference: Romans 3:23; Psalms 51.

The result or consequences of my sin is death. Romans 6:23 shares that the result of sin is death or spiritual separation from God. Not just eternal damnation but a terrible lack of purpose and hope even in this world.

What is the solution for my dilemma?

Romans 5:8 informs us that while you and I were yet in our sins that Christ died for us. His life was sacrificed that you might walk with God.

What do I do now?

Romans 10:13 says, whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved or set free from sin's bondage. If you will bow your head and ask Jesus Christ to come into your empty heart. He'll come in and forgive you and cleanse you. Here is a simple prayer you can pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, today I confess that I need you and I make you Lord of my life today. Forgive me of my sins, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you for saving me and being my Lord and savior. In Jesus name, Amen."
