Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Welcome to the website of the Church of the Living Word located in Hayes, VA.

    "Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he" (Proverbs 29:18)

     We count it all joy to be able to share in the work of God's kingdom building here on Earth. All thanks be to God that we staggered not at His promise through unbelief as He manifested the vision, "Building a victorious church that lives the Word through the power of Jesus Christ". In spite of the battles, trials and hardships we had to encounter, there is still a great excitement, spirit of excellence and expectation for His ministry.

     We live not by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Jesus Christ, the Living Word, is God's full revelation of Himself; the Bible is our only record of His incarnation and atonement. As a summary on our doctrine, we thus can say that we accept the Bible as the Word of God. Praying for God's leadership and giving our best effort toward understanding, we seek to teach EVERYTHING that the Bible teaches. Our doctrine is based on the SCRIPTURES, not on man-made traditions.

The Living Word Family vows to stand upon Jesus Christ, our solid rock and soon coming King.  Thus, we will put on the whole armor of God that we may build a victorious church that lives the Word through the Power of Jesus Christ.
